The US Army has put together a new 30-year budget plan to better predict the costs of maintenance and sustainment across its weapon systems. Mary Miller, the army's deputy assistant secretary for research and training, said the service had gone through two drafts of the 30-year plan, which covers all army platforms and will be submitted to the US Congress in time for the release of the fiscal tear 2015 budget, expected in February or March.
