Turkey is allowing Iraqi Kurdish fighters to cross its territory to reinforce the Syrian Kurds defending the border town of Kobane (Ayn al-Arab) against the Islamic State. Around 80 Iraqi Kurdish vehicles were filmed crossing into Turkey at the Habur border crossing late on the night of 28-29 October. The weapons carried or towed by the vehicles were under wraps, but appear to have included 57 mm S-60 antiaircraft guns and recoilless guns mounted on old Mercedes-Benz G-Wagons.
