Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri has handed over two ships to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Navy at its Muggiano yard near La Spezia.The 1,650-tonne anti-submarine warfare (ASW) corvette Abu Dhabi (P 191) and the first 550-tonne Falaj-2-class stealth patrol vessel, Ghantut (P 2 51), were handed over in an 8 January ceremony attended by UAE Navy Chief of StaffRear Admiral Ibrahim Salem Al-Musharrakh and senior Italian Navy representatives.
