Having celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2012, ST Engineering has expanded into a global integrated engineering company that specialises in innovative solutions and services in the aerospace, electronics, land systems and marine sectors. ST Engineering was created in 1997 by the amalgamation of four Singapore-based industry leaders: ST Aerospace, ST Electronics, ST Kinetics and ST Marine. These four business arms remain the bedrock of the Group's structure. While ST Engineering is headquartered in Singapore, and is strategically important to the country's defence and security, the Group has expanded considerably around the world. Through its more than 100 subsidiaries, it currently operates in 41 cities in 23 countries. It is active on all five continents, including significant operations in China, and in North America, where it has established a holding company, VT Systems.
