China will establish an industrial base in Beijing's southern Dax-ing District dedicated to developing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), a state-run news agency has reported. The UAV industrial park is scheduled to commence operations in the next few years and will cover an area measuring 134 hectares, reported China.org.cn. Indicating the anticipated growth of UAV-related business in China's military and commercial sectors, the report said the estimated value of the park's industrial output would be about CNY10 billion (USD16 billion) by 2015, CNY30 billion by 2020, and more than CNY100 billion by 2025.
