The Army of the Czech Republic (ACR) withdrew the remaining 18 members of its NATO-Kosovo Force (KFOR) contingent from the Sajko-vac military base in Kosovo on 26 October.Plans call for the ACR to officially hand over the facility to local authorities along with senior representatives of the European Union Rule of Law Mission (EULEX), the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) and KFOR during a ceremony on 27 October.All remaining ACR personnel are to be repatriated to the Czech Republic on board an Airbus Military C-295M transport aircraft. Nearly 50 pieces of ACR military equipment will be transported by rail to the Czech Republic, with the last transport train scheduled to arrive on 2 November accompanied by a 31 -member ACR security and logistics detail.
