The Indian government has rejected a proposal from domestic private company Zetatek Engineering Systems, which produces a range of test systems and equipment for the defence sector, to issue shares to a foreign company.rnThe Indian Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) - the body that oversees foreign direct investment (FDI) proposals - said on 31 December that it had declined Zetatek's bid to "issue shares to the tune of 26 per cent on a fully diluted basis, to carry out activities in the defence sector".
