Swedish defence aerospace group Saab will cut 115 factory jobs from its aeronautics business as a direct result of a poor performance by the division in recent months.rnSaab will serve notice to the workers at Saab AB in Linko ping as part of "continued streamlining measures and synergies within the Aeronautics business area", the company announced on 19 January.rnLennart Sindahl, executive vice-president of Saab Aeronautics -which covers commercial and defence activities -told Jane's that the redundancies had flowed from a "constant process" of identifying efficiencies, which included "the shifting of borders between commercial and military structures" within the company.
