Lockheed Martin will focus its acquisition efforts on cyber assets during 2010 as it seeks to meet the pressing strategic needs of Western governments, according to the company's vice-president of mergers and acquisitions (M&A).rnCyber-security is "a space within which we can play a very active role", Jeff MacLauchlan told Jane's. The US company is also keen to add to its capabilities in missile defence as it bids to oust Boeing as sustain-ment provider for the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) missile defence system programme.
