Boeing has agreed to acquire Argon ST for USD775 million in a deal value that exceeds previous estimates for the C4ISR specialist, reflecting strong rival bidding from Boeing's peers.rnThe acquisition of US-based Argon - which develops sensors and networks designed to exploit, analyse and delivery information for real-time situational awareness - was announced on 30 June. It emerged in January this year that the company was considering its strategic options and that it had appointed investment bank Stone Key Partners to help explore possibilities which included a trade sale. Argon's share price jumped more than 40 per cent to USD34.25 when trading opened on 30 June.
