Boeing's Phantom Works division is in the final stages of assembly of its first liquid hydrogen-fuelled high-altitude long-endurance (HALE) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), dubbed Phantom Eye, and is on course to achieve a first flight in early 2011.rnDarryl Davis, president of Phantom Works, said that the UAV, which is designed to stay aloft for up to four days at altitudes of 65,000 ft, is being assembled at Boeing's St Louis facility in Missouri and will be unveiled "in the not-too-distant future".
