The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) has taken delivery of its eighth and final Hawker Beechcralt King Air 350 light utility aircraft under the Air Interim Light Transport programme, the Australian Department of Defence (DoD) announced on 6 July.rnThe brand new aircraft joins three ex-army King Airs that were transferred to the RAAF in November 2009 and four further new-build aircraft; the fleet will be operated in the light transport role by 38 Squadron at RAAF BaseTownsville, Queensland under lease from Hawker Pacific.
