Zodiac Aerospace has rejected a proposal by Safran to form an "industrial combination" of the two companies.rnThe rejection comes as Safran seeks to find its position in the French aerospace and defence sectors following the earlier collapse of talks with Thales regarding the merger of their defence product business lines. The companies were looking to rationalise their Optronics, inertial navigation and onboard mission computer business units.
