The Indian Army has called off trials involving two rival 155 mm/ 52 cal towed howitzers and dispatched a new global request for information (RfI) for similar weapon systems, further delaying its long-postponed artillery modernisation plans.rnA Ministry of Defence (MoD) spokesman said on 23 July that the trials had been abandoned due to the "non-appearance" of Singapore Technologies Kinetics' (STKs') FH2000 gun.
