German Eurofighters began flying again on 30 September after being grounded due to problems with their ejection seats.rnA German Air Force (Luftwaffe) spokesman confirmed that the aircraft would be back on 15-minute quick reaction alert by the time Jane'swent to press: a mission conducted by F-4F Phantoms during the Eurofighter grounding. Investigations showed that the belt buckle of the ejection seat could unintentionally open during ejection. The buckle was modified in close co-operation with industry, according to the Luftwaffe, and the Eurofighters were then cleared for flying.
