The Czech Ministry of Defence (MoD) has announced a six- to 12-month delay in the procurement of Ceska Zbrojovka CZ 805 assault rifles for the Army of the Czech Republic (ACR), citing funding shortages in the 2011 defence budget.rn"An addition to the contract has been prepared that changes the delivery schedule and partially moves it forward. This is not being initiated by the manufacturer but by the ministry. Due to budget cuts we do not have adequate funds for the new rifles next year," MoD spokesperson Jan Pejsek said on 22 November.
