The Spanish Air Force has received its first three Tranche 2 (T2) Eurofighter Typhoon combat aircraft, the company announced in mid-December. The delivery follows the Type Acceptance agreement for Block 8 (T2) achieved on 12 September. The first T2 aircraft - SSO18 - was delivered on 24 October, the second - SSO 14 - on 5 December and the third - SSO13 - on 10 Decem-ber. According to Eurofighter, the fourth aircraft will be delivered "in the near future".
