Today BAE Systems' Global UAS Team stands ready to deliver a range of end-to-end unmanned aircraft systems solutions to tine defence and civilian security sectors. The company's unique brand of intelligent autonomy -drawing in world-leading expertise from across its global business - solves many of the problems associated with other unmanned platforms, while offering capabilities that greatly enhance the customer's ability to perform ISTAR and other missions. All-embracing through-life support is central to the company's activities, reducing footprint and costs while eliminating obsolescence throughout the projected life of the product.rnWhile current programmes have been aimed at defence customers, the Global UAS Team isrndeveloping and applying its technologies to the growing civil security field. HERTI and GA22, for example, are two current programmes with significant applications in this sector. Innovative business models, such as service provision, are being studied as a means by which security agencies might cost-effectively acquire the capabilities on offer.
