Boeing is to submit its A160T Hummingbird rotary-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for the US Marine Corps (USMC)Immediate Cargo unmanned aerial system (UAS) demonstration programme, therncompany announced on 2 June, The USMC is looking to field a UAV to fill an urgent operational requirement to deliver supplies in lieu of using ground transport,which is vulnerable to attack fromrnimprovised explosive devices.
