In what is claimed to be a world first in incorporating the dual technology, it is due to be operational by late 2010 or early 2011, Managing Director Marcos Carrera told Jane's on 4 June.rnKnown as HADA (helicopter adaptable -- to aircraft), the UAV project is sponsored by the National institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA), which comes under the Ministry of Defence. It is designed to take off vertically before deploying wings for horizontal flight and is designed with border and coastal reconnaissance in mind.
