The Bangladeshi government announced on 11 June a Fiscal Year 2009-10 (FY09-10) defence budget of BTD83.82 billion (USD1.2 billion).rnThe government said that the increase is about 2.5 per cent over the revised allocated spend during FY08-09. Jane's notes, however, that the rise over the original allocation for this year is about 30 per cent.
