The Iraqi Air Force (IQAF) has begun fully independent air operations with its Lockheed Martin C-130 transport aircraft, marking the end of the US Air Force (USAF) C-130 air advisory mission in the country.rnA ceremony deactivating the USAF's 321st Air Expeditionary Advisory Squadron and marking assumption of C-130 operations, maintenance and training by thernIQAF's 23rd Squadron formalised the milestone on 29 September.
