The Indonesian Armed Forces "should no longer use" ageing military equipment due to safety concerns, the country's president has declared. In comments published by the Indonesian government's news agency, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said: "The direction is clear enough.... The government and the military has issued a decision that outdated armaments should no longer be used."
