In recent years the British Army has made significant investment in the development of the Royal Engineers Manoeuvre Support capa-bility to meet the changing and demanding operational requirements of the 21st Century. The Sappers already have the full modular and interchangeable BR90 bridging system and are about to bring into service a fleet of Manoeuvre Support vehicles. These are the BAE Systems TROJAN Armoured Engineer Vehicle (AEV), TITAN Armoured Vehicle Launched Bridge (AVLB) and the TERRIER~® Manoeuvre Support Vehicle.
