Raytheon Aircraft Company has begun efforts to capture a major slice of what is predicted to be a market of up to 800 basic turboprop trainers over the next 10-15 years with its Beechcraft T-6B, a new generation of the T-6A already used by Canada, Greece and the US. The company has disclosed further details of its plans for the aircraft and its move to dominate the market segment with adaptable multifunction displays in the cockpit and a heritage of about 300,000 flying hours on the T-6A.
