NATO's Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC) is moving closer to an integrated communications system with the selection of Thales UK for the assessment phase of the ARRC command-and-control (C2) information system (ARRC C2IS) project. ARRC C2IS will provide the NATO High Readiness Force (Land) headquarters with a set of integrated C2 tools that promises to increase the command's operational tempo, while at the same time lowering the overall cost to support and sustain the information system.
