摘要

The Brazilian Air Force believes that its force is and always should be based on two main principles: people and equipment. If we start from each one of these, we can see a list of needs and challenges that must be considered in all our strategic planning. The fundamental issue for the Brazilian Air Force is capacitating its personnel. Officers, non-commissioned officers (NCOs) and civilians that work with us must be updated with the knowledge related to their field of operation and this must be considered for both those who are already in duty and those who are about to go into service. Our formation schools have been increasing their curricula. The officers are already graduating with English and Spanish proficiency - French is also a possibility in coming years - and specialisation in public administration.
