The Greek Ministry of Defence (MoD) has concluded deals worth an approximate EUR1.3 billion ($1.4 billion) to acquire 20 NH 90 transports and 12 AH-64D Apache Longbow attack helicopters for the Hellenic Army. The acquisitions are part of a wider arms package announced last month, which also includes the purchase of additional Super Vita fast attack craft for the Hellenic Navy from the UK's Vosper Thornycroft (Jane's Defence Weekly 13 August).
