Serious concerns about the outsourcing of military provisioning have surfaced the escalating row about the price the US Department of Defense (DoD) paid Halliburton for fuel deliveries to Iraq. First raised in late October by Congressmen Henry Waxman and John Dingell, the issue was exacerbated by a 25 November letter to the Inspector General of the Defense Department from Waxman, Dingell and Senator Joseph Lieberman.
