More than 100 experts representing a range of both government and civilian computer disciplines turned their attention to national security issues during a recent gathering at the US Department of Energy's Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) in Livermore, California. Sponsored by LLNL's Center for Global Security Research (CGSR), the conference focused on the topic, "Beyond Moore's Law: Opportunities and Threats from Future, Ubiquitous, High Performance Computing."
