The new head of Aero Vodochody, Dieter John, has revealed a strategy to improve financial stability, as well as facilitate the certification of the new L-39NG aircraft and subsequently secure new contracts for the upgraded trainer. John took over from Giuseppe Giordo as president and CEO in March following the latter's three-year tenure at the helm of the Czech aerospace company. Since then John has consolidated the management team and revealed his strategy for the company going forward.
