The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defence (MoD) launched a new agency on 23 November to provide services for manufacturers, importers, and exporters of defence equipment and services. Based in the Tawazun Industrial Park as a branch of the Department of Licensing & Regulation in the MoD, the Trade Control Office is supported by UAE offset authority the Tawazun Economic Council (TEC) and the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development.
