Sikorsky Australia has secured a AUD200 million (USD143 million) contract to provide support services for the Royal Australian Navy's (RAN's) 24-strong fleet of MH-60R Seahawk multirole naval helicopters. The five-year contract covers maintenance, training, warehousing, supply support, and equipment testing, with the services set to be provided by Sikorsky's maintenance and logistics support facility at the Albatross Aviation Technology Park in Nowra, New South Wales. The company will work with the RAN's Fleet Air Arm. Australia selected the MH-60R in 2011 under Project Air 9000 Phase 8. Deliveries to the RAN began in 2013, with the last platform officially handed over in September 2016.
