US Army Cyber Command's (ARCYBER's) Cyber-Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA) Support to Corps and Below (CSCB) programme seeks to bolster CEMA capabilities at a tactical level. Now in its fifth year, the effort has evolved in several directions, according to senior officials, with a growing focus on improving remote capabilities and providing more realistic training. The CSCB programme was launched in late 2014, at the same time as ARCYBER launched its Cyber Mission Force initiative. The goal was to complement work under way at the national, strategic, and operational levels by emphasising "the tactical units who are also going to take advantage of cyber space effects", Lieutenant Colonel Wayne Sanders, the ARCYBER CSCB chief, told Jane's.
