Alittle under five years after initial contracts for the French/UK (FR/UK) Maritime Mine Countermeasures (MMCM) programme were placed through the European defence procurement agency OCCAR, a Thales-led industry team is embarking on full-scale system demonstrations, based on a series of Operational Scenarios and Task Vignettes (OSTVs), intended to culminate in the handover of two MMCM operational demonstrator systems in April 2020.
