摘要

Since bid for the abovementioned project on the UK Department for Transport in June 2008, as a result of negotiations over a long time, Hitachi was able to contract the project in July 2012. Hitachi became largest shareholder company of special purpose company established for Transport intercity express update plan (Intercity Express Programme: IEP) in the UK Department for Transport. Hitachi deploys vehicle leasing business to SPV, supplies these vehicles, offer maintenance services of the vehicles and constructs maintenance and inspection site. Hitachi is also planning to build a railway vehicle production base by 2015, corresponding to this project.
