Ella Jones has created this book to "provide guidelines for planning and implementing library programs for teenagers." She has spent over 25 years in the field of education (many at the high school level, in teaching and counseling), and this has enabled her to have insight into the needs of today's teens. The Capstone Experience project she completed as part of her library degree at the University of North Texas ignited her desire to write a book for libraries, schools, youth groups, or anyone working with teens to enhance their programs.
