Drawing up conclusions on issues as open as the OAA is probably an oxymoron. Keeping that in mind, what could realistically be expected for the future of the aviation industry is pretty much dependent upon the outcome of the ongoing negotiations. The political parameters of the matter should not be underestimated. What triggered the United States to launch its open skies policy in 1992 was the creation of a single market in Europe and the emergence of Community Carriers.
