The reconstruction of the shape of a scatterer from the far field patterns of scattered waves is studied. A recent approach in solving such nonlinear and ill-posed problems using a characterization of the domain derivative of the far field operator is shown by the scattering from a sound-hard obstacle. The performance of the Landweber iteration method is illustrated by some numerical examples.
