This (hardback) text is a second edition of a publication which appeared in 1995. The main objective in the words of the authors is to describe '... analysis strategies for regression problems in which predictors are measured with error.' The text comprises 15 standalone chapters and two appendices. The chapters have similar structure to those in the first edition. Changes in the new edition include expanded material on Bayesian methods in Chapter 9, a new chapter on longitudinal data and mixed models (Chapter 11), a new chapter on semiparametric regression (Chapter 13), a completely rewritten Chapter 7 on score function methods and Chapter 12 on density estimation, and the section on survival analysis is expanded and forms a new chapter in this edition.
