The meeting, held in London 2010-05-25, was convened by chair L. Gaustad.rnIt was reported that the EMI metal master that was used for the AES-X064 test disc was never pressed in shellac, only in an early vinyl compound. This causes problems in producing a replay correction curve caused by the difference in compliance between the vinyl and shellac. It was suggested that a suitable existing shellac test record with a corresponding metal matrix be located so that a new pressing in vinyl could be made and a comparison of the shellac and vinyl responses made.
