THE WORLD WIDE market of the textile and coating industry is marked by a constant structural change. The German textile industry has been established again with high quality and technically sophisticated textiles af- ter several years decline of classic textile treatments in Germany. The defi- nition and the possibilities of textiles are changing, and the goals will be different in the future with the use of textiles for technical purposes--so called "technical textiles." Even the low wage countries have the tendency to turn away from the manufacture of low quality products.
