摘要

The phase diagram of the La_2O_3-Ga_2O_3-SiO_2 system around La_3Ga_5SiO_14 was investigated by a different thermal analysis and the quenching mehod. On the basis of this diagram, single crystals of La_3Ga_5SiO_14 were grown from different startign melt compositions by the Czochralski technqiue. The effect of starting melt composition on crystal quality was examiend by meauring the variation of chemicla composition and lattice parameters along the growth axis. The congruency and the existence of soid solution rnage of La_3Ga_5SiO_14 are discussed.
