Once again, Glen Bull from the University of Virginia did a masterful job of bringing together individuals from educational associations and nonprofit organizations and corporations as well as journal editors and federal policy makers to discuss initiatives and issues of critical importance to teacher education at the 12th annual National Technology Leadership Summit (NTLS). We would like to highlight some of the discussion from the performance assessment strand, led by David Gibson from Arizona State and Gerald Knezek from the University of North Texas, especially in the area of teacher performance assessment.
