摘要

Hensoldt (Ulm, Germany) has demonstrated the detection performance of its Twlnvis passive radar sensor during a NATO Science and Technology Organization measurement campaign led by the Polish armed forces. Twlnvis locates aircraft by evaluating and fusing signals reflected off the target from existing external broadcast transmitters (VHF and UHF transmissions from analogue and digital radio and television transmitters) to generate a comprehensive air picture. The system is able to simultaneously evaluate up to 16 FM transmitters (analog radio) and five frequencies with several contributing transmitters from DAB and DAB+ (digital radio), as well as DVB-T and DVB-T2 (digital terrestrial television).
