Journal of Hydroinformatics is a peer-reviewed journal: it welcomes the submission of contributions, which must be in English. Contributions may describe original research; novel applications of hydroinformatics technologies; evaluations, including comparisons, of hydroinformatics products; developments in their enabling technologies; the reporting of experiences and related critical evaluation. Technical papers, practice papers, technical notes and discussions. Technical papers and practice papers are full-length, original contributions that must have fewer than 10,000 words, or word equivalents. Technical notes, i.e., short articles presenting preliminary or partial results of research, concisely presented research results, or innovative hydroinformatics techniques, will invite papers that are no longer than 5,000 words. Discussions, i.e., a submission presenting significant comments or questions about the published work in the Journal, can be submitted after discussion with the Editor-in-Chief.
