摘要

The generation of (100)/{111} rough-smooth twin structures during the precipitation of silver halide tabular crystals is contrasted with possible changes that may have accompanied the postpre-cipitation processes. We conclude that the driving force for the generation of rough-smooth twin structures observed in cryo-sections is the energetics of the growth process at the twin boundaries during precipitation.
