IT Is A well-known fact that flexible plastics such as PVC can be attacked by micro-organisms [1]. This phenomenon reduces the quality of these products, which is not commercially acceptable. The attack of micro-organisms can be prevented by the incorporation of an effective biocide into the PVC formula- tion. In reality and under practical conditions of usage the surface of the PVC film will be contaminated with micro-organisms.
