摘要

In this paper, we investigate pressure regulation for three-level gas pressure system by variable universe fuzzy self-tuning PID control. Pressure vessels are fundamental equipments in process industries. Conventional PID controllers used for gas tanks must set initial controller parameters in advance according to engineers' knowledge, and these parameters will not be changed during regulation. To remove these restrictions, variable universe fuzzy logic is introduced to tune the parameters of PID controller. When introducing the contraction and expansion factors for universes, both fuzzy universes and parameters of PID controller are tuned on-line, which improve the controller performance. Finally, simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented method.
