Overall,transport policy in Berlin is making a discernible and active contribution to overcoming social disadvantages by focusing on 'socil urban development'objictives within public transport planning and provision.In the future ,this will continus to present a major challenge for transport policy actions in Berlin,particularly in view of likely demographic developments and an ageing society.
